Swedish Massage is the basic unit of massage training  based on a series of techniques that underpin the necessary skill of the massage therapist. This unit may be completed as a component of Certificate IV Massage or on its own for participants who want to learn to provide a full body massage for their friends or family. That is, it may be utilised as a stand-alone unit and participants do not have to complete the full training programme of the pending professional therapist.

Swedish Massage has its origins in ancient Eygptian, Chinese an Indian massage techniques that have survived the fall of ancient knowledge.Today these techniques form the foundations of our present massage industry.

Part time:  Thursday evenings 6.30 to 9.30pm for 15 weeks ( Start date 11th February 2010)

Full time: Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9am to 4pm for 4 weeks(Start date 17th February 2010)
