Following completion of HLT40307 Certificate IV in Massage Practice, students can complete this nationally recognised programme to become a Level 2 Remedial Massage Therapist. This course is designed to increase the skill and knowledge of the practising massage therapist and to meet the requirements of the major health funds who require their massage providers to hold Diploma qualification. It consists of a combination of core and elective subjects to be completed in one year.

 Modules include:

Professional practices

Remedial massage 2

Remedial massage 3

Anatomy and symtomatology

Supervised clinic

 Choice of electives:

Lymphatic drainage therapy

Deep tissue massage

Reflexology

Bowen therapy introduction

Course Format

Commences in February and completes in December annually

It is possible to enter the course mid year and complete mid following year.

One day per week but may vary according to choice of electives

Co-requiste

Students are required to have or obtain  a current first aid certificate before course completion. The cost for this is not included in the quoted price.
