WE ARE 21 YEARS IN EXISTANCE THIS YEAR 2010!!!
And we are proud to announce we have turned out many excellent professional massage therapists who get fantastic feedback from their clients.Over the years our ex students have constantly told us their clients tell them that despite having other massages they have never had such thorough and specialised treatments from therapists trained elsewhere!!!
USH held its Graduation Celebration on Friday 11th December at the "Little Morgue Winery" Yandina. Despite threatening to storm the weather remained fine long enough for the graduates, their family and friends to enjoy some local wine and receive their certificates and diplomas. Congratulations to everyone for putting in such huge efforts to reach their goals and congratulations to two outstanding students who received the Student of the Year awards...Helen Bowyer at Diploma level, who also won SOY in 2008 Cert.IV and to Valerie Bensaci this years 2009 Cert.IV SOY. We wish everyone great success in the industry and hope you keep ÏN TOUCH"

How about another one next year Margie?
The inaugural Qld ATMS Massage Conference and Trade Exhibition was a tremendous success. QLD ATMS representative Margie Martin did a fantastic organisational job and everything ran smoothly and efficiently.
Great speakers inspired the 200 delegates for the two days, many of whom enjoyed the deep tissue bodywork, manual lymphatic drainage therapy, reflexology and seated massages by USH graduates.
It's great to see the massage industry representing itself so professionally and for massage therapists from all areas of Australia to come together to learn and network.
Well....what do you say Margie????

Another USH student wins an ATMS scholarship !
Congratulations to Kel Sharp the lucky winner of one of ten $1000 grants provided annually by the ATMS to go towards further education.
Kel completed Certifcate IV Massage studies last year and thought he'd take a chance and apply.
This is the second year in a row that a USH student has been a lucky winner. So if any 2008 students want to take a chance for next years draw we might just produce a 'hat trick'.

Congratulations to Angie Humphries winner of an ATMS Simon Schot Scholarship!
USH Diploma of Remedial Masage, student Angie Humphrey was the lucky recipient of one of ten annual $ 1000 scholarships provided by the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) to its members for further education in Complementary @ Alternative Medicine (CAM).
Angie completed Certificate IV Massage at the Unity School of Healing in 2005 and spent the following year getting her and partners Adam Humphrey ( who also completed HLT40302 with Angie at USH in 2005) mobile massage business off the ground before commencing their Diploma in 2007.
This has been a welcome blessing to them while they both undertake their further Diploma studies and has enabled Adam to retire from his " other" job and concentrate on their Mobile Massage business.
This is an example of the wonderful benefits of belonging to the ATMS!
As an ATMS accredited college, all graduates of USH are automatically eligible to join ATMS and apply for a Simon Schot Scholarship.
